Grades 1 and 2. Discovery campers attend with one or both parents and/or their primary guardian. (Grandparents who would like to take grandkids to camp should plan to attend Grand Camp or Family Camp).
Discovery Camp begins at 7:00 pm on Friday and ends at 10:00 am on Sunday.
Discovery Camp is a weekend full of fun, worship, learning, swimming, crafts and energetic games. This is an amazing camp experience that is shared with the child’s parent or primary guardian. We hope this early camping experience will strengthen family bonds and introduce your child to summer camp. Children learn the ins and outs of the summer camp ministry and begin to transition to sleep away camp. (They'll sleep in their room with a counselor and parents will sleep down the hall). This camp is great for those kids who may be a little apprehensive about camp or parent/child pairs who need a little extra one on one time together.
