Matt grew up in Lufkin, Tx. After graduating high school he attended Texas A&M University in College Station. He graduated from A&M in 2001 with a degree in Business Administration. Throughout his formative years he attended to Pineywoods Camp as a camper. He started working there in 1996 as a summer staff member. Throughtout the past ten years he has worked at several different camps in varying capacities trying to learn as much as possible about the camping industry. Matt has been the director of Disciples Crossing since June 2005. He and his wife Karlee met and got married at Pineywoods. They have two dogs Anthony and Joni.
